How To Get An Alert When You’re Eligible for COVID Vaccine.

San Diego residents can sign up for an alert that notifies you when it's "your turn" to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The alert is part of California's MyTurn program, which also tells you up front if you are eligible right now and has the ability to schedule your appointment to get the vaccine.

By answering a few questions the MyTurn program can determine your eligibility. If you are eligible for the vaccine now, it provides appointment options. If you aren't currently eligible, it will ask for some additional information so that it can send an alert when you are.

Screening questions include your county of residence, age range, and industry of employment (if applicable).

To get the alert, you'll need to provide a mobile number and you have the option of providing an email address.

If you don't have a mobile device, you can call the CA COVID-19 hotline at 1-833-422-4255 they are open M-F 8am - 8pm and Sat - Sun 8am - 5pm.
