City of San Diego say crews have identified more than 70 streets that were blocked with mud and debris from the storm. As of Friday morning, closed to 20 of those streets were cleared.

San Diego County officials say their public works road crews are helping property owners remove and dispose of flood-damaged items following the big storm.

On Monday, Jan. 29, the crews will get extra help from a contractor for a broader, comprehensive program. The county says the crews will focus on some of the hardest-hit areas including but not limited to Spring Valley, La Presa, Winter Gardens and Bonita.

If you have flood damage to your property, call 2-1-1 and they will help you coordinate the flood debris removal.

Starting Monday, Spring Valley, La Presa, Winter Gardens and Bonita residents can simply place the flood-damaged debris curbside leaving traffic lanes clear, and the County will pick up and properly dispose of the items. This County-provided service is free of charge.

The county says if your home or business was flooded during the Jan. 22 storm, it is important to keep yourself and your family safe when cleaning up.
