An earthquake shook areas near the coast early Monday morning, It had a preliminary magnitude of 4.4 and was centered about 65 miles west/southwest off the coast of La Jolla community and 67 miles from Coronado
The U.S. Geological Survey, which says the quake hit at 2:44 a.m. Pacific Time, was reported felt near the coast from Tijuana to Los Angeles.
There were no reports of damage or injuries.
