As we all have found out, living through these times of the pandemic is not easy.
It’s not easy doing what you have to do to help reduce your risk and the risk of others of getting the virus.
It’s not easy working from a makeshift office at home for several months already and the prospect of doing it for at several more months.
And it’s certainly not easy if you’ve been furloughed or laid off or worried about losing your job.
And it can be devastatingly not easy being unable to visit loved ones who are in the hospital being treated for the virus.
We all are dealing with these not so easy abnormal times. But we all need some normal at times too. And we all need to remember a lot of the wonderful things we may take for granted during normal times. Especially with family.
And that’s why the birth of our newest grandchild comes just at the right time.Even if you’re not allowed into the hospital to see him or son and daughter in law.
There’s something about the birth of a baby that kind of re-sets your view of things and helps you to remember the really special things in life.
And our new grandson and all the other babies being born during the year of the pandemic means they become part of a special generation and very special blessings.
