What to Wear While Working From Home

We all know what April 15th is, at least normally. The 15th of April is Tax Day.But April 16th is also a day on the calendar with a name to it…that also has a little abnormal twist to it this year.

Today is National Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day.

According to the Days of the Year calendar, it was created in 2004, by Pajamagram when they launched an advertising campaign to celebrate Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day as a reward for staying up late the night before working on your taxes.

Well, no one had to do that this year with the tax deadline put off for three months due to the coronavirus.

And with the stay at home orders still in place, millions of Americans are already wearing their pajamas to work today, and have been doing it every day, since they started working from home.

Is it a good idea to wear your pajamas while working from home?

There are some motivational types who say it’s better to dress up for work even while working at home because it helps you work better when you’re dressed for it.

There are others who say working in your pajamas helps you de-stress a bit from the already stressful feeling you have because of all the changes in our lives these days and actually can help you be more productive while working from home.

The question about working in your pajamas is one you have to answer for yourself of course.

But for now, the best suggestion is probably to do what feels good, because, with what’s going on these days, we all want to feel good.
