World Health Organization Updates Workplace Burnout to Syndrome

How do you feel when you leave work after your shift? Exhausted? Depleted? Stressed? The World Health Organization, which classifies those feelings as "burnout", will update its definition of the condition it in its handbook, The International Classification of Diseases in the year 2022.

Burnout is now a syndrome tied to "chronic workplace stress that is not successfully managed. Before, it was defined as just a state of vital exhaustion.

How do you know if you have burnout? The symptoms according to WHO include, feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion, increased mental distance from one's job or feeling of negativism.
