Flash Flood Warning Issued And Water Rescues Underway In San Diego

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for parts of the county until 9pm as San Diego gets pounded by rain.

A number of rescues have been performed in areas including Mission Valley, downtown and the Skyline area as intersections have become flooded and vehicles overcome with water. 

Also, as many as 3400 customers were without power in areas including Balboa Park, downtown San Diego and 

Flight delays have also been reported at San Diego Lindbergh Field because of an airport weather warning that was issued due to nearby thunderstorms.
