Teachers To Protest Job Cuts Again In Clairemont

Teachers potentially facing layoffs from the San Diego Unified School District are expected to protest for a second day outside of a hearing in Clairemont, where district officials are considering budget cuts.

Hundreds of teachers and district staff held a rally Monday at Madison High School.  Nearly 1,400 pink slips were handed out, as the district faces a $124 million budget shortfall next year.  They will finalize their budget in May.
